ECH 4414 - Meth/Teach Science

METHODS OF TEACHING SCIENCE PRE-K TO GRADE 2 (2)Thorough examination of the current learning standards for science and their use in developing and implementing instructional methods and materials in teaching physics, earth, space and biological sciences in PreK to Grade 2. Course will emphasize age appropriate, discipline specific pedagogy and interdisciplinary planning and instruction. 10 field hours required.Prerequisite(s): ECH 4401/4001, ECH 4402/4304, ECH 4404/4000, ECH 4405/4002, ECH 4410/4310, ECH 4412/4008; PH S 1100/110, PH S 1140/114 and BIOL 1510/151 or consent of department.Co-requisite(s): ECH 4413, ECH 4415 and ECH 4416.
