BIOL 1510 - Concepts of Biology

Biology for future elementary teachers. Basic biological concepts with emphasis on plants; experience with curricular materials and scientific practices amenable to teaching pre-K - 5 science. Face-to-face and/or hybrid sections offered. Credit not given for both BIOL 1510 and BIOL 1070. Additional course fee. Prerequisite(s): Fifteen hours of college credits and enrollment as an education major.
