Content Designation:

At the time of admission to the University, students will be enrolled as a Pre-College of Education (PCOE) major. Upon meeting stated requirements at the time of Admission to the College of Education (Entry Point 2), students may declare an intent to be enrolled in the Educational Studies major.

Degree Qualification(s) Earned: 

This degree leads to a Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies which does not lead to licensure.

The Educational Studies program meets the Illinois Culturally Responsive Teaching and Leading Standards (IL CRTLS). The program is designed with a focus on the knowledge, skills, and dispositions associated with the education field.
