SPEECH AND LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT FOR CHILDREN 0-8 (2)Participants develop an understanding of language acquisition and development in children ages 0-8. All aspects of communication are explored with an emphasis on appropriate and culturally responsive methods to facilitate language development. Connections to emergent literacy and support for children with communication challenges. Fifteen (15) field hours.Prerequisite(s): ECH 4401/4001, ECH 4402/4304 and consent of department.
