PLAN OF STUDY - Elementary Education MAT - [41-46 Credits]
Minimum 33 Graduate Credit Hours Required to complete degree.
Prerequisite Courses (Equivalent to 32 Credit Hours)
All requirements must be met for state licensure as mandated by the Illinois State Board of Education, in consultation with the Office of Teacher Licensure. After a transcript analysis is completed by the Office of Teacher Licensure, the candidate may be required to provide proof of completion of undergraduate-level coursework [i.e. 32 credit hours plus child psychology, educational psychology, and/or other state-mandated professional education requirements] to meet licensure requirements. Course proficiencies can be transferred in as Undergraduate or Graduate Credit or as CLEP credits. The list below includes typical equivalencies, should there be a need to complete outstanding coursework for licensure at CSU.
