Following NASAD Accreditation standards, Art and Design degrees are offered partially online. Please see individual course descriptions in the dynamic course schedule for indications of whether a course is offered online, hybrid, or in-person.

·  All courses must be passed with at least a grade of C. A grade point average of B (3.0) or above is required in all general education, art, and professional education courses.
·  A grade of B or above is required in Student Teaching.
·  Student teaching is a full-time 12-16 week experience required at the end of the program.
·  Students must submit a “cleared” criminal background check before enrolling in a course requiring field experiences and before admission to the College of Education.
·  State-mandated 100 clinical hours in the field are included in the program.
·  Disposition for teaching children and adolescents is assessed as part of the program.
·  Professional Education courses below with ** require admission to the College of Education.
