Minor in Geographic Information Systems (18 credit hours)

The Minor in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is open to students majoring in any discipline at Chicago State University. The minor provides students with a solid foundation in GIS concepts, theories, and applications, and prepares students for entry-level positions as GIS Analysts.

Graduates with a minor in GIS can pursue the Graduate Certificate in GIS or the M.A. in Geography with GIS Concentration at Chicago State University to become advanced GIS/Remote Sensing professionals.
