Social and Behavioral Sciences (9 Credits)


Natural Sciences (6 credits)


Must include one life science and one physical science with laboratory. General Education requirements for Natural Sciences are embedded in the major.

Required Program Core and Supportive Courses


Free Electives (7 Credits)


Students can select seven hours of free electives in coordination with their academic advisor.

College of Health Sciences Core Courses (9 credits)


NOTE:


HSC courses cannot substitute for professional courses in nursing (NURS), occupational therapy (OT), and health information administration (HIA).

Other professional courses (such as HIA, OT, PT, or NURS codes) completed with a grade of C or better will be accepted as a public health supportive elective with the approval of the Dean. Credits will not be awarded for both H SC/Public Health and the professional courses in HIA, Nursing, and OT.
