As of Fall 2016, the Department of Geography, Sociology, History, African American Studies, and Anthropology will no longer offer a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography. The department will continue to offer the M.A. in Geography, M. A. in Geography with GIS Concentration, post-baccalaureate certificates in GIS and Community Development, as well as undergraduate general education courses and two undergraduate minors, a minor in Geography and a minor in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
