ED 2471 - Pre-Clinical Field Experience I

Demonstrate successful completion of required Level I pre-clinical experience competencies: Assisting and Tutoring. Course may be repeated for a maximum of two attempts. Credit will be awarded as Pass or Fail. Seventy-five (75) clock hours of supervised experience [Pre-Clinical: Participatory Observation/Small Group/Tutoring/Co-Teach] in the elementary classroom (grades 1-6), middle grades (grades 5-8), or secondary (grades 9-12) appropriate to the student’s major, licensure credential (i.e., Professional Educator License), or non-licensure concentration area. Credit will be given for only one of the following: ED 2471, ED 3471 or ED 5471.

Prerequisites
Year 2 (Sophomore) Level or Above.
