PHYS 1310 - Introductory Mathematics for Science and Engineering


An introduction to mathematical concepts frequently employed in first and second-year physics and engineering courses. Topics covered include physics and engineering applications of algebra, trigonometry, vectors, complex numbers, sinusoids and signals, systems of equations and matrices, derivatives, integrals, and differential equations. Credit will be given for only one of the following: MATH 1310 or PHYS 1310.
