HON 1320 - Math Modeling

MATHEMATICAL MODELING (3)Investigation of questions in various areas in the natural sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities using the mathematical tools (the concept of a function, linear functions, rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, and power functions) learned in Math 1200 (College Algebra). Greater emphasis will be placed on developing and analyzing the models than is seen in Math 1200. Credit is given for only one of the following: HON 1320, MATH 1200, HON 1300.Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Honors College
