HIA 4010 - Health Information Administration Management II

An in-depth, practical analysis of issues faced by managers as they relate to the basic management functions: directing and controlling. The course will also cover the theory, development, implementation and management of quality improvement, utilization review and risk management. A case method approach is utilized with problem-solving and decision-making activities. Numerous assignments including projects are given that require critical thinking skills.
