HIA 3810 - Health Information Management I An in-depth, practical analysis of issues faced by managers as they relate to the basic management functions: directing and controlling. The course will introduce the concepts of quality improvement, utilization review and risk management. A case method approach is utilized with problem-solving and decision-making activities. Numerous assignments, including projects, are given that require critical thinking skills.
