INTRODUCTION TO ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (3)This course covers various aspects of human health, including quality of life that are impacted by physical, chemical, biological, social and psychological factors in the environment; theory and practice of assessing, correcting, controlling and preventing those factors in the environment that adversely affect the health of present and future generations; ecosystems interaction, biological and chemical toxins in the general environment and relevant environmental regulations.Prerequisites: ENG 1280/128, College Biology; Ph S 1000/100, Ph S 1010/101, or Ph S 1100/110; CHEM 1050/105 or CHEM 1550/155; or consent of department.
