ED 2000 - Social and Cultural Foundations of Education
Exploration of interdisciplinary understandings of the social and cultural realities of education in a modern, urban, and global society. Education in U.S. society from sociological, cultural, and structural perspectives with a focus on inequity and the intersecting roles of race, language, class, religion, geography, gender, sexual identity, and exceptionality. Credit will be given for only one of the following: ED 2000 or ED 5000.
