BIOL 3590 - Cannabis Biology and Production A plant biology course focusing upon the cannabis species. Topics include cannabis anatomy, physiology, reproduction, genetics, breeding schemes, and technology with the goal of understanding the processes responsible for synthesis of the secondary metabolites, cannabinoids, and terpenes. Plant production practices and the effect of plant products on the human endocannabinoid system are also included.
