ACCT 5001 - Fundamentals of Accounting This course provides the student with an understanding of basic accounting fundamentals, concepts and practices as they relate to a corporation. Accounting for assets, liabilities, and stockholders equity; understanding financial ratios and the analysis of financial statements in order to interpret and predict a company’s financial performance. Additionally, the course explores cost concepts and use of costs in the managerial decision-making process and the integration of financial and managerial operations of the enterprise.
