S ED 4200 - Assistive Technology ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY IN AN INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT (3)An overview of assistive technology as it relates to education, communication, vocation, recreation, and mobility for individuals with disabilities. Students will explore types of assistive technologies, functional assessments, curricular modifications, alternative strategies, resources, collaborative efforts with family, community and related services personnel and district responsibilities. Requires 15 hours of teaching assisting.Prerequisites: S ED 4301/301, 5301/301G or consent of department.
