TECHNIQUES AND METHODS FOR RECREATION (2)Introduction to field experience including techniques, methods and practices used. Exposure to practical application issues and trends in various recreation settings via readings. Introduction to the expectations of the National Parks and Recreation Association Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) examination. Emphasis on effective study skills and test-taking strategies, professional associations/organizations, and leisure studies as a profession.Prerequisite(s): REC 1000, REC 2050, REC 3270, REC 4070, REC 4100, REC 4400.
