FUNDAMENTALS OF NURSING (6)Nursing skills, health assessment techniques and critical thinking in the laboratory and selected community settings. Introduction to the process of decision-making as it relates to application of the nursing process and development of the fundamental nursing concepts, theory and skill development for beginning nursing students. Course includes the nurse client relationship, intra-professional team communication, health informatics, safety, nutrition, health prevention and health promotion.Prerequisite(s): Admission into the Nursing Program.Co-requisite(s): NURS 3101
