Analysis of the structure and impact of current political and religious rhetoric through examination of speeches, sermons, essays, journalistic writing, etc. Practice in the use of rhetorical strategies to produce effective discourse.Prerequisite: Successful completion of the English Qualifying Examination, ENG 2100/210 and ENG 2260/226.
