ADVANCED EDITING (3)Advanced study and practice of the skills of writing and editing nonfiction. Research, writing and refinement of various types of text (such as journalism articles and political speeches), combined with the use of universal proofreader’s marks to edit texts for accuracy, completeness, clarity, coherence, and cohesion. Consideration of the legal and ethical requirements and responsibilities of editors.Prerequisites: English 2100/210 (grade of B or higher).
