BIOL 4170 - Immunology Lecture and Laboratory Basic immunological concepts and laboratory techniques with applications to biological research: chemistry of antigens, antibodies and antigen-antibody reactions; cellular immunology including antibody formation, hypersensitivity, immunogenetics, autoimmunity, and transplantation immunology, and immunity and immunopathology including the immunological mechanisms of disease. Credit will not be given for both BIOL 4170 and 5170.
Prerequisites: BIOL 3040 and BIOL 3051, or equivalents; or consent of the instructor.
