THESIS RESEARCH IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE (3) For graduate students who wish to complete a master’s thesis in lieu of the practicum/internship (499) as culminating experience of program. Topic selection, literature search, design, research, and writing. May be taken for three credit hours. May be repeated to a maximum of six hours in subsequent semester with the consent of the department. Prerequisites: Completion of CJ graduate program prerequisites; twenty-four hours of graduate credit in department; completion of or concurrent enrollment in CJ 4350/350 and 4380/380 or equivalent; formal admission to the master’s degree program; consent of the instructor.
