The certificate is intended to introduce a wide and diverse range of students to the field of Quantum Information Science & Engineering (QISE), to provide a solid foundation for those interested in conducting advanced research in the field, and to equip all who take the courses with the ability to confidently tackle future career challenges involving quantum-infused concepts and technologies. Students can complete the QISE certificate minor as a standalone undergraduate certificate or as a minor concentration. Students interested in the certificate option must fulfill the admissions criteria established by the University. The certificate option is designed and offered in a sequence that enables students to fulfill the requirements of 10-12 credits in one year.
