ECH 2030 - Health Safety Nutrition in Early Childhood Education

Examination of nutrition, health and safety practice, including study of health related issues, use and implementation of Illinois Health and Physical Development Learning Standards, and development of safety, nutrition, health, and physical development/fitness education in children ages 0-8. Emphasis on collaboration with families to support wellness within a social and cultural context. Credit will be given for only one of the following: ECH 2030, ECH 4403, or ECH 5403.
