ECH 2000 - History and Philosophy of Early Childhood Education

Historical, philosophical, and social events have contributed to the foundations and ongoing development of education in the United States. Emphasis is on the history of responses of early childhood education to various issues in society in the US, including contemporary trends in the field of early childhood. Credit will be given for only one of the following: ECH 2000, ECH 4401, or ECH 5401.
