H SC 4420 - Introduction to Urban Health This course will provide a synopsis of the health and demography of populations in urban areas and shed light on social determinants of health such as poverty, racism, residential segregation, and educational inequities. The course is designed to provide students with an overview of the health patterns of urban populations and social and economic policies to address health disparities and improve health in urban areas.
