COLONIALISM, NATIONALISM AND INDEPENDENCE IN THE THIRD WORLD (3)Political, economic and cultural changes brought about in traditional society by the imposition of Western rule, leading to the rise of nationalism and successful independence movements. India, Indochina, Kenya, and Nigeria will be used as case studies.Prerequisites: Junior standing or successful completion of at least one history course with a grade of C or higher.
