HISTORY OF AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN (3)History of women with African descent from the enslavement period to the present. Emphasis on issues of racism and sexism in late 19th century and 20th century U.S. society with relation to the feminist, womanist, Civil Rights and Black Power movements.Prerequisites: Junior standing or successful completion of at least one history course with a grade of C or higher.
